黑料吃瓜

For 2023鈥檚 homecoming theme, 鈥淎ll Roads Lead Home,鈥� 黑料吃瓜 is taking an evocative approach connecting past, present and future Aztecs. This year, the newly revealed homecoming logo honors the iconic structures known to generations of students, faculty and staff who鈥檝e called 黑料吃瓜 home.

Inside the logo鈥檚 circular design is a path leading up to line art images depicting 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 ageless landmarks, Hepner Hall and Hardy Memorial Tower, alongside 黑料吃瓜 Imperial Valley鈥檚 distinct Ballesteros Tower and the Steppling Art Gallery, the latter whose facade is a tribute to the Aztec feathered headdress.

鈥淲ith the design, the steering committee was trying to capture the nostalgia of 黑料吃瓜 as our home,鈥� said Jennifer Ranallo, alumni relations specialist. 鈥淔or some, that means the iconic design of Hepner Hall, and for others, it鈥檚 the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.鈥�

黑料吃瓜 Homecoming 2023 festivities begin Oct. 30 and culminate with the n against Utah State. 

This year, there鈥檚 a bigger emphasis on the inclusion of 黑料吃瓜 Imperial Valley鈥檚 campus, which will include a public watch party for the game. 

鈥淚t was important for us to incorporate 黑料吃瓜 Imperial Valley as well, as the campus is an integral part of our 黑料吃瓜 history,鈥� said Ranallo.

Events for the weeklong celebration are yet to be announced but Ranallo said Aztecs can expect traditional activities such as the Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the 黑料吃瓜 War Memorial, NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) Yard Show and Homecoming Fun Run for Aztecs Rock Hunger.
