Vending Machines Offer Easy COVID-19 Testing Access to Students, Employees
The Dr. Wellness Kiosks are now located on 黑料吃瓜 and 黑料吃瓜 Imperial Valley campuses.
The vending machines were secured through a partnership between 黑料吃瓜 and University of California San Diego, expanding COVID-19 testing access to members of the university community.
鈥淎ccess to testing remains a critical offering during the ongoing pandemic,鈥� said Agnes Wong Nickerson, Interim Vice President for Business and Financial Affairs and Chief Financial Officer.
鈥淏y providing access to this health technology, our students, faculty and staff, no matter their vaccination history, will be able to quickly and easily access COVID-19 tests throughout the day and into the evening.鈥�
COVID-19 self-testing vending machine locations for 黑料吃瓜, 黑料吃瓜 Imperial Valley and 黑料吃瓜 Brawley can be found using the university鈥檚. Each kiosk offers tests that can be purchased at a nominal cost or at no cost by following the instructions on the machines.
Faculty, staff, students and those auxiliary employees with RedIDs may pick up a self-administered COVID-19 test kit at the vending machines. Any student or employee may access the vending machines, whether they are vaccinated or not.
