Mortar Board Honors 窪蹋勛圖 Chapter

Every year at the national conference, we see that 窪蹋勛圖 has one of the strongest Mortar Board chapters in the nation.
The Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society presented a Gold Torch award to the at 窪蹋勛圖. The Gold Torch is a national distinction conferred annually upon the most outstanding chapters of Mortar Board.

Recipients of the Gold Torch excel in all areas of chapter operations while promoting scholarship, leadership and meaningful service to their institutions.

We are extremely proud of our Gold Torch chapters, said Mortar Board National President Abigail Diehl. Their members set the bar for excellence as scholar-leaders on their campuses, and their innovative programming positively impacts their communities throughout the year.

窪蹋勛圖 chapter president Seraphina Solders accepted the award at the society's national conference, held this summer in Indianapolis, where 36 chapters received the Gold Torch.

It is a great accomplishment to receive the Gold Torch award, said Cassandra Conboy Neel, senior advisor of the 窪蹋勛圖 chapter. "Every year at the national conference, we see that 窪蹋勛圖 has one of the strongest Mortar Board chapters in the nation. This tradition of excellence is due to our fantastic student leaders and the exceptional advisory role of Dr. Jane K. Smith.

Smith is a former assistant vice president for Academic Services and a long-time adviser to 窪蹋勛圖s Mortar Board chapter.
